Condo of the Rising Sun
I have some good news and some bad news.
The good news is, with this page, this story is finished! I am printing this up into a book, which will be available at TCAF in Toronto (torontocomics.com, June 18-19, 2022) and the Small Press Expo outside Washington DC (smallpressexpo.com, Sept 17-18, 2022).
The bad news is, I am officially putting Muddlers Beat on hiatus. I’ve practically been on hiatus for a few of years now; I’m sure you have noticed that. But don’t worry! I will still make comics, they will just be new stuff. And I may come back to Muddlers Beat some day. I love these characters with all my heart, and it has been my pleasure to write about Finn, Charlie, Jaime, Corey, Ken, Hiroshi, Krys, Jake, Candy, and all the rest for you. It’s been a real privilege to write characters that you have connected with and that you care about. That’s an amazing thing, to be frank.
