Chapter: Goodbye College Radio, SQUAWK Radio
Characters: Charlie Buonaugura, Ken Fong
Those of you who know me may recognize this storyline; yes it is drawn from events that happened to me about 7 years ago. But it will be a fictional account. As always, when I pull storylines from reality, I change a lot, so the story will take the characters where I want them to go.
For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s ancient history; let us speak of it no more. Please enjoy this fictionalized account instead.
How do you pronounce Charlie’s surname? I can’t fathom it.
It’s Italian. In Italy, you would say “bwoan-ow-GOO-rah”; in my head I’m Americanizing it to “baw-nuh-GURR-uh”.
I pronounce it “Boo-oo-uh-NOW-goo-RAH”.
This has happened to so many community or college radio stations. It will be interesting to see how it plays out here in your story…

Wow – so we’re finally going to learn Finn’s surname too, huh? Because I’m pretty sure most last names were never shared in Hitched. So excited that you’re continuing the universe – those are my favorite sorts of webcomics.

Will Hitched still have updates or has that ended?
Hitched has ended, at least for now. I may do some one-off stories in the future, but I don’t expect to bring it back on its present form.
Muddlers Beat is a continuation of the stories and characters from Hitched, though.
