No hating on Florida here; I’ve tried not to specify exactly where Muddlers Beat takes place, but it’s clearly a northern city, and so Sarasota is a good “not the same city” choice. Also I have a close friend from Sarasota. HI, SARASOTA.
This is the first time we’ve seen Corey’s dad in Muddlers Beat, and we only ever saw him once in Finn and Charlie Are Hitched. Here he is again! His name is Jeremy.
Pfft, I will hate on Florida for you… Lovely place to visit, but it is crowded, hot, sticky, swampy, infested with mosquitos and topped with alligators. And the beaches are beautiful.

I always imagined that this took place in Chicago, tbh. Especially in Hitched when the beach the guys went to was so clearly a lake beach (to me).
