Know when to hold ’em, know when to run
Hi folks! I mentioned last week that my posting schedule was going to be erratic for a while, but I didn’t mention why.
Well: my husband has cancer—a pretty rare type, too. He’s been very weak lately, and we need to hire help to take care of him while I go to work at my day job. We’re also working on getting a second opinion at The Mayo Clinic, which will mean a trip to Minnesota. I’d been feeling pretty good about the fact that we have pretty good insurance, but we are reaching a point where there are things that we need that just aren’t covered.
A friend convinced me to let her set up a GoFundMe for us. I was reluctant—I hate to ask for money—but at the same time, I know a lot of people have asked us how they can help, and giving money is a way to help. So here it is… if you’d like to help, throw us a few bucks. Every little bit helps. www.gofundme.com/tonyanderic
Thank you.
Oh dear. Best wishes to Eric and You; hope he gets well soon!
sorry to hear about your husband. I hope everything works out.
Sorry to hear about the challenge you guys are facing right now. Wishing you the best going forward.
Sorry to hear about this. Cancer’s a tough fight. I hope you’re able to get the help you both need for this battle.
Tony, wishing Eric all the best. As **WAY** too many of my friends (for themselves, family, and pets) have posted recently F*ck Cancer. Stay strong.
