I’m very appreciative of the ways that you appear to be threading storylines and characterization here. I feel like this scenario is going to end very poorly for at least Ken.
This whole arc has got me thinking about character development for the entire cast, actually. I love this comic and its predecessor, and for a while this post read “but I’m not sure many of them have altered much”.
Then I edited it, because I guess if I take into account, “Hitched” both Ken and Corey have altered a good bit, while settling into their current characterizations. Krys, most definitely (that’s kind of been her “thing”, growth). Finn and Charlie seem the most static, which kind of makes sense in a way.
Maybe I’m just used to really drastic shifts in tone and perspective in comics, though.
Yes, that’s certainly the only reason you keep touching Hiroshi, Ken, no other reason possible…;)
