One Battle Won…

Hey! I’m assuming you heard about how last Friday the Supreme Court rules that marriage is a right that cannot be denied to same sex couples. This is awesome! It’s amazing! It marks a shift in our culture, that I believe will lead to more openness. But, we are not done. There is more to fight for: employment protection, trans rights, immigration rights, and more. So let’s keep fighting.
An organization I like that is fighting the good fight on behalf of all LGBTQ people is Lambda Legal.
Yeah, that thought lingered in the back of my mind after the ruling came out, but I tried not to think about it at first. I just wanted to enjoy that win. But we still have a ways to go.
We should celebrate this win! We just need to remember it’s not over.
