After I came out in college, I pretty quickly decided I didn’t want to date anyone who had just come out… I didn’t want to be anyone’s first anymore.
Hey Chicago Chicago Chicago! This weekend is CAKE, the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo, one of my favorite comic show, and the only one I can actually walk to. You should come on down, it’ll be awesome.
Heeeeey Brooklyn/New York City! I love you too, and I’ll be at FlameCon the weekend after next. This is FlameCon’s inaugural year. Come help make it a success! It’ll be GREAT. (It’s a one day show so don’t go showing up on Sunday because you’ll just be SAD.)
When I first came out in college, I spent the next 18 months helping a bunch of other guys come out by being their first boyfriend. It was my community service. 🙂

I think this is one of those strips that are really sweet without being cheesy or unrealistic. You’ve always done such an amazing job of writing those.
